Have you ever seen this man before? No he isn't a famous youtube personality or a celebrity, but this man is a hero. See his story and video below.

50 years ago, Donald Ritchie bought his house that overlooked the beautiful sights of "The Gap" which is a large cliff by the Sydney Harbor. Though this view is magnificent, it's unfortunately a common place for people to commit suicide.

Over the course of residency, Donald has prevented more than 400 suicides. But how does he do it?

Human Empathy and Kindness.

When Donald sees those who want to jump, he invites them into his home for a cup of tea and a home cooked meal made by his wife. Donald says he checks the cliff every morning. "You couldn't just sit there and watch them, or I couldn't," he says.

"I'm still here at 94, so maybe I'm being rewarded in some way," he stated.

Well Done Donald! You are truely a hero in my books!

Share the positivity, pass it on!
